CVE-2020-1737 is a high-severity flaw (CVSS 7.5) affecting ansible engine, ansible tower. Below: why it ranks where it does, which versions are affected, what to do, and the exact commands.

A flaw was found in Ansible 2.7.17 and prior, 2.8.9 and prior, and 2.9.6 and prior when using the Extract-Zip function from the win_unzip module as the extracted file(s) are not checked if they belong to the destination folder. redhat ansible engine UPGRADE
Affected: < 2.7.17 · >= 2.8.0 and < 2.8.9 · >= 2.9.0 and < 2.9.6
Fixed in: 2.7.17, 2.8.9, 2.9.6
Safe to downgrade to: a release before 2.8.0
1. Check installed version
apt-cache policy ansible-engine || rpm -q ansible-engine || ansible-engine --version
2. UPGRADE to 2.7.17 (Debian / Ubuntu)
sudo apt update && sudo apt install --only-upgrade ansible-engine
2. UPGRADE (RHEL / Amazon Linux / Fedora)
sudo dnf upgrade ansible-engine
Note
Distros often backport fixes without changing the version number. Confirm with the distro advisory or changelog.
3. If no update is available yet, DOWNGRADE to a release before 2.8.0 (Debian / Ubuntu)
apt-cache madison ansible-engine sudo apt install ansible-engine=<VERSION_BEFORE_2.8.0> sudo apt-mark hold ansible-engine
3. If no update is available yet, DOWNGRADE (RHEL / Amazon Linux / Fedora)
dnf --showduplicates list ansible-engine sudo dnf downgrade ansible-engine-<VERSION_BEFORE_2.8.0> sudo dnf versionlock add ansible-engine
Downgrade risk
Downgrading can break dependent software and may reopen older bugs. Read the distro advisory first and test on a non-production host.
After downgrade
Restart the service, and keep the package held until a fixed release ships.
