CVE-2020-1945 is a medium-severity flaw (CVSS 6.3) affecting ant, ubuntu linux, fedora. Below: why it ranks where it does, which versions are affected, what to do, and the exact commands.

Apache Ant 1.1 to 1.9.14 and 1.10.0 to 1.10.7 uses the default temporary directory identified by the Java system property java.io.tmpdir for several tasks and may thus leak sensitive information. The fixcrlf and replaceregexp tasks also copy files from the temporary directory back into the build tree allowing an attacker to inject modified source files into the build process.

Affected: >= 1.1 and <= 1.9.14 · >= 1.10.0 and <= 1.10.7
Fixed in: newer than 1.10.7
Safe to downgrade to: a release before 1.1
1. Check installed version
apt-cache policy ant || rpm -q ant || ant --version
2. UPGRADE to newer than 1.10.7 (Debian / Ubuntu)
sudo apt update && sudo apt install --only-upgrade ant
2. UPGRADE (RHEL / Amazon Linux / Fedora)
sudo dnf upgrade ant
Note
Distros often backport fixes without changing the version number. Confirm with the distro advisory or changelog.
3. If no update is available yet, DOWNGRADE to a release before 1.1 (Debian / Ubuntu)
apt-cache madison ant sudo apt install ant=<VERSION_BEFORE_1.1> sudo apt-mark hold ant
3. If no update is available yet, DOWNGRADE (RHEL / Amazon Linux / Fedora)

Downgrade risk
Downgrading can break dependent software and may reopen older bugs. Read the distro advisory first and test on a non-production host.
After downgrade
Restart the service, and keep the package held until a fixed release ships.
