CVE-2026-102560 is a high-severity flaw (CVSS 8.6) affecting libsoup, enterprise linux. Below: why it ranks where it does, which versions are affected, what to do, and the exact commands.

A flaw was found in libsoup. When the permessage-deflate WebSocket extension compresses a very large outgoing message, truncated size calculations used for GByteArray growth could wrap, causing zlib to write past the allocated buffer and resulting in a heap buffer overflow.

Why this priority

  • High severity
  • Remotely exploitable, no login, no user action
  • On your watchlist

A fixed release or distro patch exists.
