CVE-2026-25804 is a critical-severity flaw (CVSS 9.1) affecting antrea. Below: why it ranks where it does, which versions are affected, what to do, and the exact commands.

Antrea is a Kubernetes networking solution intended to be Kubernetes native. Prior to versions 2.3.2 and 2.4.3, Antrea's network policy priority assignment system has a uint16 arithmetic overflow bug that causes incorrect OpenFlow priority calculations when handling a large numbers of policies with various priority values. This results in potentially incorrect traffic enforcement. This issue has been patched in versions 2.4.3.

Why this priority

  • Critical severity
  • Remotely exploitable, no login, no user action
  • On your watchlist

A fixed release or distro patch exists.

Fixed in: 2.3.2, 2.4.3
Safe to downgrade to: a release before 2.4.0
1. Check installed version
apt-cache policy antrea || rpm -q antrea || antrea --version
2. UPGRADE to 2.3.2 (Debian / Ubuntu)
sudo apt update && sudo apt install --only-upgrade antrea
2. UPGRADE (RHEL / Amazon Linux / Fedora)
sudo dnf upgrade antrea
Note
Distros often backport fixes without changing the version number. Confirm with the distro advisory or changelog.
3. If no update is available yet, DOWNGRADE to a release before 2.4.0 (Debian / Ubuntu)
apt-cache madison antrea sudo apt install antrea=<VERSION_BEFORE_2.4.0> sudo apt-mark hold antrea
3. If no update is available yet, DOWNGRADE (RHEL / Amazon Linux / Fedora)
dnf --showduplicates list antrea sudo dnf downgrade antrea-<VERSION_BEFORE_2.4.0> sudo dnf versionlock add antrea
Downgrade risk
Downgrading can break dependent software and may reopen older bugs. Read the distro advisory first and test on a non-production host.
After downgrade
Restart the service, and keep the package held until a fixed release ships.
