CVE-2026-6330 is a medium-severity flaw (CVSS 6.5) affecting wolfssl. Below: why it ranks where it does, which versions are affected, what to do, and the exact commands.

The ML-KEM ARM64 NEON ciphertext comparison only compares half of the input, breaking the Fujisaki-Okamoto transform's implicit rejection and weakening IND-CCA2 security on that code path. The constant-time comparison effectively ignored part of the re-encrypted ciphertext, so a decapsulating party could fail to detect a manipulated ciphertext and proceed without the standard's required implicit rejection.

Note
Distros often backport fixes without changing the version number. Confirm with the distro advisory or changelog.
3. If no update is available yet, DOWNGRADE to a release before 5.7.4 (Debian / Ubuntu)
apt-cache madison wolfssl sudo apt install wolfssl=<VERSION_BEFORE_5.7.4> sudo apt-mark hold wolfssl

Downgrade risk
Downgrading can break dependent software and may reopen older bugs. Read the distro advisory first and test on a non-production host.
After downgrade
Restart the service, and keep the package held until a fixed release ships.
